Rowan Atkinson is a crack-up! Mr.Bean is a goofy, silly movie;I watch his zany mannerisms, and he brings a smile to my Heart.

Really stupid movies are among the guiltiest pleasures on earth.

Among my favorite dumb flicks has to be Jerry Lewis' "The Big Mouth", one of the looniest crime spoofs ever! (His "Nutty Professor" is a masterwork and doesn't count!) Also "Birds Do It" with Soupy Sales.

Among 50's sci-fi works I have a soft spot for "The Giant Claw", made by Columbia, who gave us all those Harryhausen classics.

I thought of another one that I just have to add and also because I haven't seen anybody else post it. Low brow humor at its best: "The Hollywood Knights" - how could I forget Newbomb Turk.

I remember Hollywood Knights now that you mention it - that's an old one (if you consider the 80s old!) and if memory serves that's where I first saw Pee-Wee Herman (or was is just Paul Reubens?)

Either way, it did remind me of another stupid, enjoyable movie:
Pee-Wee's Big Adventure. ~ "Everybody's got a big 'but' Dotty" ~

I have to say the funniest, really stupid movie for me is "It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, World. I almost wet myself when Milton Berle and the others were trying to get the car keys from Ethel Merman. There is also a smorgasbord of cameos.

The Ace Ventura movies.
They may not be that stupid in plot but the catch phrases definately were, and even though I find them annoying I hear them working their way into my vocabulary from time to time LOL.
Allrighty then!

Did anyone see a movie called "Drop Dead Fred"? I don't really care for Phoebe Cates, and the movie is truly stupid. But there is a scene where Fred hits Cates in the face with a shovel, that is just hysterical. I really did wet myself when I fist saw it.

most of the movies mentioned above I like.Mystery Men is a good film,me and my husband were the oldest people in the cinema when we went to see the second Ace Ventura film, the nutty professor is brilliant.Have to say I like Dude, where's my car and my all time favourite is Robin Hood men in tights .The bit when the abbott is coming down the aisle and everyone is saying good morro abbott and this one guy says 'hey abbott' it cracks me up every time.

I have seen "Drop Dead Fred", we are huge Young Ones fans and looked forward to that one, but it was a bit of a disappointment. Rik Mayall is a very funny guy, I'll give him that.

I thought I was the only person that loved "Hollywood Knights"! I've probably seen it a dozen times. Newbomb Turk is unforgettable.

Where should I begin? Let me count the ones. My teenage granddaughter and her friend visited with me this past week and they watched She's The Man over and over. Talk about stupid movies.....but they loved it.

I have more than one. Most films by Sandler, Stiller, Atkinson and Carrey make me choose them but then I start hesitating. Should I call them Favs or plainly stupid ?

I don't think "Airplane" will count in this category as it is perfection.

Stupid movies I like:

"Dazed and Confused"
"Friday"
"Dumb and Dumber"
"The Brady Bunch Movie"
"Scream"

Really, the list could go on.

Dumb and Dumber is a classic!

Balls Of Fury - only reason I could find to bother with it was Christopher Walken but it was pretty funny.

stupid funny,not LOL funny

Now I really like these movies, but they're, well, stupid, ..."Austin Powers" series & "Dead Man on Campus"... funny, funny (& stupid, lol) movies.
My husband says, "Wayne's World".

I am actually blushing as I type this. I am about to admit, in print, that I liked the movie "Happy Gilmour" starring Adam Sandler. I laughed through the whole thing. I can't recall how long ago I watched it, but I'm thinking it had to have been when I was pregnant and was for a while temporarily insane. (I claim insanity because during this phase i also let my sister (who is NO hairdresser) cut my hair.)

Ernest Goes to Camp - soooo stupid but yet so much fun every time. And sappy and heartwarming too. I'm a sucker for "Sure am Glad it's Raining"...gets me every time.

From Hell it Came - old school Z horror movie with "lumbering tree" villain...some of the funniest crap you've ever seen.
