Hi, i`m still trying to figure out how everything works here (mabe im a bit slow) . I`m a 39 year old "girl" from Norway , who really likes trivia. I have a language problem though , in the "timed" quizes i see that i use to much time reading/understanding the questions compared to others. I hope this gets better with practice . Annyway , this is a good way to relax with coffee a chocolat

Hi there mari67! Don't feel too bad about that "timing" issue, either ~ I speak English as a first language and I have the very same problem most days . Glad to have you here ... and am looking forward to hearing more about life in Norway!

,,,I DONT get the answers right all the time eighter , but im trying hard to remember the things i pick up in quizes ....in case they show up again The things that gives me the biggest problems are Football questions ( who did this.... and what year...) American football is not a big thing here , so i dont know annything about it , not even how its played . also some television questions are hard , couse somethings has never been aired here

Norway is a small contry , where not much happens , so i understand why peaople dont know where it is when i understand a little more about how its works here , i will take you up on that suggestion , and make a quiz about Norway and the surounding countries ( Scandinavia )

Very cool, Mari, we were in Eilat last August and had a very good view of Aqaba!:) We were skindiving around the coral reefs over there and camping. (some details of those swims in my funtrivia blog) My avatar pic was taken by my husband from our campsite in August 2006!, Aqaba would be at the level of the top of those palm trees across the gulf.. if you look very closely we can see you waving;)

Eilat is one of my favourite holiday destinations, but I've been to Aqaba too. Your snap makes me want to go back, Yaarbiriah!

Aqaba is very nice , but you can see that Jordan is not a "high profile" tourist goal. We were many places , and they were not used to tourists exept in Aqaba and Amman, but peaople were nice , and very polite everywhere.

I got your note Marie, I replied there. I havn't been to Petra but seen many pics. There's a really good national geographic article (December 1998) which really blew me away, I hadn't realized before just how many edifices are built into the canyons there, each one a little different from the next. Yes I heard the Jordanians are very nice but since now they're very busy absorbing many Iraqi refugees I don't know how that will affect tourism if at all.
