Perhaps some don't post every day because there is a finite number of photos that show the area where they live, or objects that make a good photo. New posters showing their part of the world, or photos of items, are always welcome. Nonetheless, perhaps there isn't that much of a scarcity of photos being displayed at present. We are up to around 100 this month already. Here's a photo typical of Autumn day around our way. The webs looked better yesterday with some sun on them. Unfortunately, the camera had been left behind. This one was taken this afternoon. Unlike yesterday, the day was damp and gloomy:

I took this photo in the city this week. It is the Holocaust memorial in Stirling Gardens. It has three triangular faces. One face declares it to be dedicated to the victims of the Holocaust – the 6,000,000 Jewish people who perished at the hands of the Nazi regime. The same message is written on the second face in what I presume to be Hebrew. On the third face is the following: First they came for the Jews and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew. Then they came for the Communists and I did not speak out because I was not a Communist. Then they came for the trade unionists and I did not speak out because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak out for me. Pastor Martin Niemöller

What exactly is to the right side of the cat? It looks scary! I like the way the "tool" made her ears lacy, like wings...Nice, Jar!

To the right of the cat is some of her yarn that was hanging down. She is actually laying on the shelf of her scratching post with the yarn hanging from the fireplace mantel.

I'm guilty here and the only reason is I have been lazy. Sorry everyone will have to make up for my laziness. This is a picture I took in January when we went to Ndlofo (Place of the Elephant). This Elephant was having a mud bath, not a sight you see everyday.

WOW, lots of great photos! Curious, though, where is Sue? Hope she is OK. Great web shots, very Halloween-y. Copago, sure miss your contributions too. Must ask, if that's the size of an emu egg, I wonder what an ostrich egg looks like in comparison! Here's mine, some desert blooms I took last week.

Well, thanks to aramis for prompting me to look around a bit more - I found imageshack which apparently isn't blocked. (who know why photobucket is, it's a government thing ) Fingers crossed this works! It's my son with our new pet lamb which we found orphaned. Her name is Tibby. She was a day or two old when we found her and aboutthree days old in this pic.

Copago, Connor (that's his name, isn't it?) is so photogenic. Have you thought of a career for him in modeling? At least as as kidlet?
