We relly need a thread in the lounge about the loony behaviour of pets!
Here is St John's Cathedral. Central Hong Kong. Nice clean lines. It's in a beautiful setting too.

I went out to lunch in St Brelade's Bay and took photographs afterwards. This one is of the church as seen from the promenade. I liked the shades of green as the background.

This is where I have been working on a temp job for the past three weeks. Mercy Hospital is a large Catholic hospital in Perth located on the banks of the Swan River. (Tomorrow I'll post the magnificent view from my window). On the right, in the foreground, you can see part of the original old hospital - the colonial style building. To the left is the more modern extension where all the specialists are located (where I have been working). The actual hospital is at the rear under the "Mercy" sign. Mercy Hospital was founded in 1937 by the Sisters of Mercy and was originally called St Anne's - so this year is its 70th anniversary. As a temp secretary, I have worked there a number of times for various specialists. I like working there - free security parking, and a short easy commute from home!

Hi All

All your photos are amazing as always. I haven't been posting as my hard drive crashed. I lost everything on the computer, thankfully I back everything up. However it will take me some time to get it all back the way it was. "Sigh"

My daughters puppy, Re, sleeping on my teddy bear. He ate the buttons off my other bears jersey so I was watching him carefully with this bear.

satguru: I only went to Brent Cross once, I think the only thing I bought was a pair of shoes.

I love those Hong Kong cathedral lines, definitely a sight we missed while on holiday there a few years ago! Also a fascinating image of the silver ferns of New Zealand - well done peggy!
Here's mine for today, three different furs. It's actually a close-up of three large pigs sleeping together in our local zoo, Paradise Park in Broxbourne.

I thought there would be some Brent Cross memories, it can be a small world! This is the centre of Neasden, it used to be a nice place when we lived here in the 60s, it is now extremely rough and not only that they have just started charging people to park here. It's a shame to see local places go downhill and nearby Wembley is well known to be the same.

So sorry for your difficulties, argus! Hope things get fixed soon.

I was just playing around yesterday and took this photo of a little candle I have.

When I was out taking photographs yesterday in St Brelade's Bay I took some photos with the intention of merging a couple together. The other day I did two side by side to form a panoramic photo, this time I merged two vertically.

Oh no, Argus! Glad you had them backed up!

We've been shearing our rams today - they get shorn twice a year.

The pygmy goat is cute, djsgal.

Nice to see a real silver fern, peggy.

This is a fairly typical flint-built Sussex church - St Peter & Paul at Peasmarsh near Rye.

That injury looks very nasty Lady, must have been extremely traumatic and painful.
I'm sure it'll look a lot different in a month or so!

Good pics, all...

OUCH lady1, that hurts. Wishing your daughter a speedy recovery!

Winston always looks so cute, spanishliz.

I haven't taken any photos for a couple of days, so here's one from our trip to Hawaii this past July. In Volcano National Park, can you see part of the sign melted away from hot lava? And beyond is the lava field.

Had a great day yesterday. I got the last copy of Eric Clapton's autobiography in the shop. Got Patti Boyd's as well and received 2 free cinema tickets, so went to see Becoming Jane. Wonderful!

Here is a house like the 4 I've lived in throughout my life, except about twice the size. This one's in Finchley.

This is all that's left of what was a rather nice tree, just around the corner from me. I gather that it was creating some problems for the roof of the house it grew beside, however, so it had to go.
