This is where I have been working on a temp job for the past three weeks. Mercy Hospital is a large Catholic hospital in Perth located on the banks of the Swan River. (Tomorrow I'll post the magnificent view from my window). On the right, in the foreground, you can see part of the original old hospital - the colonial style building. To the left is the more modern extension where all the specialists are located (where I have been working). The actual hospital is at the rear under the "Mercy" sign. Mercy Hospital was founded in 1937 by the Sisters of Mercy and was originally called St Anne's - so this year is its 70th anniversary. As a temp secretary, I have worked there a number of times for various specialists. I like working there - free security parking, and a short easy commute from home!

Hi All All your photos are amazing as always. I haven't been posting as my hard drive crashed. I lost everything on the computer, thankfully I back everything up. However it will take me some time to get it all back the way it was. "Sigh"

So sorry for your difficulties, argus! Hope things get fixed soon. I was just playing around yesterday and took this photo of a little candle I have.

Oh no, Argus! Glad you had them backed up! We've been shearing our rams today - they get shorn twice a year.

The pygmy goat is cute, djsgal. Nice to see a real silver fern, peggy. This is a fairly typical flint-built Sussex church - St Peter & Paul at Peasmarsh near Rye.

That injury looks very nasty Lady, must have been extremely traumatic and painful. I'm sure it'll look a lot different in a month or so! Ever fancied 'Tea at the Ritz' in London? See Ritz if you want to book Well this is the Ritz in Picadilly:-

Good pics, all... OUCH lady1, that hurts. Wishing your daughter a speedy recovery! Winston always looks so cute, spanishliz. I haven't taken any photos for a couple of days, so here's one from our trip to Hawaii this past July. In Volcano National Park, can you see part of the sign melted away from hot lava? And beyond is the lava field.

Had a great day yesterday. I got the last copy of Eric Clapton's autobiography in the shop. Got Patti Boyd's as well and received 2 free cinema tickets, so went to see Becoming Jane. Wonderful!
