Did any other fans of the Inspector Morse books by Colin Dexter see the last episode of Inspector Morse?

I saw it two days ago. I made it all the way to the very last scene and I thought I was going to make it all the way through without shedding a tear but when Lewis said goodbye I had to grab my box of tissues.

What did other people think of the last Inspector Morse (book or TV episode)?
