And speaking of being ready for the ball ... Here is an Iris Folding card I made for the "fashion" challenge on that crafting site where Sue, Santana and I are members.

Someone is going to be a lucky recipient Denni. It is beautiful.
Cinderella is darling Ren. (please don't put a toilet roll under her, not even for Sue)

How long have you been waiting now Sue? Perhaps you will get it for Christmas this year.

Here is a kneeler in our family chapel. Every one is hand made and many have dedications on them. They make a lovely show.

This is Mrs TW's latest quilt, so over to her to say something about it:

This quilt took almost a year to make. It is different to the other quilts that I have made because the blocks are made up of individual patchwork patterns. I have already given the pattern away (because I don't want to make another like it) so I'm not sure of names of the blocks but here are the few that I remember; Grandmothers fan, Log Cabin and Flying Geese. They are made up using six shades of white and cream. The effect is quite subtle so I don't think it shows well in the photo.

The aplique is all hand stitched using needle turning (I have very sore fingers at the moment because I have never got used to using a thimble). This quilt will be entered into a show/competition in October so I'm sure Mr TW will tell you how it does.

I have the fabric and pattern ready for my next project. It is a wall hanging made to look like a stained glass window.

Edit: It's a double bed size (Approx 90 x 108 inches)

ren, I bet those kneelers look so neat when you can see them all throughout the chapel.

Mrs. TW,
I will be amazed and put off if that quilt doesn't win something, if not first place in it's category, at the competition. It is just beautiful!

(Even though I can't seem to embroider even one square of TP , I do believe I am still allowed to comment on other's efforts here? )

Ren, the kneelers are so beautiful and I love the snowdrop pattern. Is it cross stitch?

Mrs. TW's quilt left me speechless, so... no words

*sticks my head in here for first time*

Wow, what talented people we have in here! Such artists! Sue, I love your cards, how beautiful they are. Denni, beautiful work too! Ren, I love your knitted dolls, so sweet! Santana, what lovely cards, the baby will treasure them when she is older. Mrs TW, stunning quilt!

I am impressed by all the crafty people in here, that's for sure.

It'll be apparent that Lynda is better at crafts than she is at writing in forums. She opened her own account a few years ago but didn't use it much. Nonetheless, she thanks everyone for the praise. The quilt will be kept and used on the bed. I hope I never drip tea or drop biscuit crumbs on it!
