A card Mrs TW (Lynda) made for our grandson. It's designed to look like a bow-front shop window. The writing on the 'glass' is intentional, just like shops sometimes have writing on the windows. It's now up to me to make an interesting insert for it on the computer:

Tell Lynda that her card is great. I assume she has made a box for it and not cramming it in an envelope.

She keeps coming up with all these different ideas for cards. This one will get a box made for it, although I'll bet I could cram it into an envelope!

Well she inspired me to make cards - perhaps I ought to send you a bill for what it has cost me since I first started!

Jane, I love the first stage, can't wait for the second now. It's beautiful and you say it's 'simple and quick' - okay.

Lynda's card is just what lady said - WOW! 'Cram it into an envelope'? - tsk, tsk!

We have another friend who spends lots on craft materials due to Lynda's influence. She has also had the same effect on a few people where she teaches crafts. Maybe it would be wise if people steered clear of her!

Santana2002 has just bullied me into making a scrapbbok page. I have had the album and some papers for quite some time but just didn't make a start. Then she (Toni) sent me some embellishments including a photoframe - now if that wasn't hint enough I don't know what is!

Anyway, here is the first page, although it will not be the front page, that will be the scans when I get around to it.

For a result like that it was well worth 'bullying', don't you think? Great work, Sue!

Have to say, that's the first *good result* of bullying I have ever seen. It's beautiful.

I haven't been to this topic in a long time .

Santana - another great scrapbook page (if I had your lovely kids I would start scrapbooking too) and well done for bullying Sue!

Jane - your talents gets better and better. All your creations are wonderful (love those bracelets).

Mrs. TW has produced an exceptional card. She's so creative and talented. I didn't know she's the one who 'dragged' you into card making Sue. I should probably blame her too for my newest hobby

Speaking of which...Here's the latest card I made for a friend who's crazy about angels, pink and mauve.

Lovely Denni. This is the great thing about card making, you can always make a card to suit a special person which reflects their interests and their character. I so admire you crafters , card makers especially

Very nice, Denni! I'll echo ren's sentiments here "I so admire you crafters, card makers especially". I just love seeing what you can do.

WOW!

I am suitably impressed by the efforts of so many of the FT members.

Jane, I wish I had your patience. I often see beautiful designs for craft-work, and I get maybe 10-15% of the way through, and then it will get too difficult and I put it to one side and don't get back. Not that I start anything that often, as I have absolutely no artistic talents whatsoever.

As for Mrs TellyWellies - WOW. I say this because I love receiving cards, and I spend hours choosing cards for loved ones, in order to choose the right one. I'm in awe of that card - and shame on anybody who wants to stuff that one into an envelope!

Here's the "Second stage" to my Advent calendar. The third stage will be on fabric backing, all ready to hang up. The second stage shows the pockets in their glory. By December they will be filled with goodies
