That looks great! I have no talent for drawing whatsoever and I'm very jealous of yours!

And Kit's cotume is a hoot- love it, and she is a cutie, isn't she?

Tellies, what is the choker made of? It's lovely but I can't work it out.

That looks good Lothruin. I wish I could draw like that!

Mrs Tellies's necklace is made of hundreds of tiny beads (seed beads) threaded together and woven into a tubular shape.

Then treble wow Martin, I had assumed it was some form of cord weaving. Stunning.

The tubular beading always leaves me a little breathless. Again, SOOO much patience.

My project this week was painting a couple of coffee cans to turn them into Hallowe'en candy dispensers. They're decorated with stickers, bought at Michaels

This photo shows my attempt at freehand painting a cat on the other side of the orange tin. The black blob at the top started out to be a bat, but ended up being a cloud...

Haha, my handicraft work tends
towards the practical, useful type.
I was quite glad of this grannysquare
crochetted bedcover this week when we
had a sudden cold snap!(well 20 degrees
C feels cold to me!)

Liz, I love what you did with those coffee cans .

Sara - I would never have the patience or the talent to do a wonderful bedcover like that.
Here is a birthday card I've put together this week, using some of the papers you sent. The silver stickers and shiny papers are courtesy of Sue - Thank you both!

That is beautiful and to think you have only been making cards for such a short time - you are amazing.

Thanks He was pretty excited about it all but the funniest thing was how suprised he was at how cold it was. We were woefully underdressed but he wouldn't get back in the car either (growing up too quickly, Denni!)

Your Scrapbook pages look great Copago, and have inspired me to get myself in gear and actually do a bit for a change.

This is what I came up with tonight. I plan on using two more photos from the same shoot to create a complimentary page, making for a double-page spread.

(Sorry for the poor picture as the background colour is dark brown and doesn't photograph well)

I'll post the other half when I get around to producing it - probably sometime next week. In the meantime I'll just enjoy watching what you other talented people have been creating.

I finally finished that second page, though there are one or two things I now think I aught to have presented slightly differently. Never mind, I'll know better the next time (I might even undo and fix tomorrow), but for now I think I'll get a few hours shuteye

Edited: I think it was too late last night, hence all the spelling errors

It is the final session of my digital photography course next week so I thought I would like to make a Thank You card for Ron, the tutor, with a photographic theme. Making a backing paper was fairly easy but I wasn't happy with the camera that I made so asked for help on a craft website. Within the hour someone had created an iris folding pattern for me and this is the result. I haven't tried the more complex folds before but it isn't too bad although not perfect.

Lovely thought.Lovely card. Ron will be thrilled. The name Ron inspires me to make a new thread in the lounge.

Great idea, Sue. I wish I was more artistic and could have unique, inspired ideas. As it is I rely heavily on 'copying' ideas, which I then personalise as best I can.

I really need to sleep more than I need to spend an evening crafting, but this evening that fluorescent pink basket kept calling to me, so I finally finished it off. I like it heaps better than the red/green original one, probably because the colour scheme is all my own and because the result is younger, cheerful and lighthearted rather than staid.
