As requested by Lioness. Post your favorite pet photo here if you like and it might be also in the weekly theme slide show.

I could have posted a photo of my poor ancient cat, Sparky, but he has featured from time to time so I am posting a photo of Oz.

Oz is my daughter's cat, I took the photo last time I went to stay.

The cat is called Oz after my father, and grandfather, as, like them, he is missing a leg! She didn't want to call the cat Edward or Ted which is what they were both called so she opted for Oz instead. My family name was Osborne, shortened to Oz.

She adopted him as a three-legged cat, he didn't lose it in her care.

Hi all, I have never posted any pics here before, but I just could not resist, the pets of the week theme.
Here is a picture of Mugaboo, my pet sugar glider (Petaurus)although she seems to be quite large she fits in the palm of my hand.

I thought there were some at Jersey Zoo, Sue. I may be confused... (no comment thanks)
Here is Gnawra, who had just had a bath and was tied up as she tends to roll in all sorts when she is damp.
I think everyone knows the story of how I found her in the village garbage bin and bottle fed her from about 8 days old. She is fine , as you see, a complete pain, but a loyal pain!

Sweet critters, all of them!

Here is my 13-year-old collie/lab mix, Ellie, dressed up for Independence Day!

I have posted lots of photos of either Winston or Katt in the various monthly threads, but this is one of the few shots I have of the two of them together - at least when they both are standing still! I believe they're wondering if dinner will soon be ready.

I love animals, but dogs hold such a special place in my heart.

Here's one of my favorite photos of ClaraSue.

Liz, Winston looks like he's saying "will you get rid of the camera already and feed us"

One of the other sites I visit has a daily jigsaw puzzle using photos submitted by people, and all of the pictures here and photo-a-day, could certainly be submitted

Lovely pictures, everyone!

This is my cat Kiara. She'll be 3 years old in a few weeks. She's the princess of the house and therefore very spoiled She's a cutie and we all love her a lot.

Here are my two cats, Crookshanks and Misty, playing. I know it looks like they are fighting, but they are only playing - they just like to play rough. Crookshanks has Misty bailed up the corner of our old kitchen. Despite being a lot of smaller than him, Misty gives as good as she gets. In fact, Misty is actually "top cat" in the house.

A gigantic 'Awwwwwwww!!!' to everybody's cute critters!!

Now, I just cannnot resist a chance to show off my cats Ozzy and Tarja. They certainly know they are boss in their house. We are obviously just the lodgers!!

Here's a picture of them at about three months old...

Now they're a year-and-a-bit-old but just as curious. Ozzy (on the left) has a strange facination with water while Tarja likes to roly-poly in roads (Don't worry, they're not busy roads). I could talk for hours about them but for your sake I shall refrain!!

I've posted my doggie a few times before so today I give you Miss Roxy - one of my friends' adorable Westie.
Here she is keeping her tail warm, glued to the heater that's behind the drapes .

Well, he's been shown before but here's a photo of Charlie (Farley) taken today. He's having one of his noisy moments. I think he likes the camera flash. I was going to show a picture of my pet ant but it got in the way when I put down a cup of coffee. Maybe I'll buy another ant soon.

I've posted images of him before, but here's one our Chinchilla cat 'Aramis'. For some reason everyone who meets him assumes he's a she!

Well, as the dogs seem to be outnumbered so far, I will just have to add Buddy our 2 year old English Cocker Spaniel:

Seen here with his new hand-made bowl, but wondering why there's no food in it yet!

This is a picture of my two very spoilt Kitties. As they were named after certain people from FT I won't mention their names for privacy reasons.
They are Sisters who were born on Easter Sunday 6 yrs ago.

Well if you are sure the Other Old Kitty won't mind I shall spill the kitty litter.
The Black and White one is named Sue and the all Black one is named Sara.
Their personalities fit their names perfectly.

Love all the pet photos. I too am an animal lover and have two cats, one rabbit and 6 rats. Here is Jellybean the kitten introducing herself to Scratcha the rabbit.

I love all these animal photos. Sue and Sara are gorgeous, just like their namesakes. And all the black and white cats make me miss my precious Tibby (short for Tiberius) who I lost a few years ago at the age of 17.

I love the pet pics! This is a great theme. I could look at all of their sweet faces for hours!

I've recently posted a pic of my dog, Mina, so here's another pet, Electric Blue, affectionately known as Bluey. He's a betta fish.
