I am very sad to hear about Arlene's death. She was very helpful to me when I first began to write quizzes and suffered my errors with much patience.

She was a great editor, quiz-maker and crossword compiler and will be sorely missed.

Arlene Rimmer edited most of my Bible related quizzes. She gave excellent advice, and I learnt a lot about quiz creation from her.
As an FT editor she'll be sadly missed.

Arlene edited my one and only quiz -- in a gentle and supportive way. Later on, when a player critiqued one of my answers she offered to reply to the critic on my behalf. I suspect that not all Funtrivia editors are so supportive and caring. She will be missed, but remembered in her quizzes and crosswords.

Arlene was a great help to me, as a editor, in the early days of quiz making, helping me make my quizzes perfect enough to go online. If it hadn't been for Arlene ( and the other editors!!! ) I don't think I would have have as many quizzes now.
