Robert Goulet is in hospital waiting for a new lung. See here.

The article mentions his performing in Camelot, and I remember seeing it on Broadway with Julie Andrews, Richard Burton and Roddy McDowell when I was in school. I'll never forget him singing "If Ever I Would Leave You."

I hope he gets better and is around for a long while yet.

One of the most memorable talents of the 20th century. It's a shame that magnificent voice is stilled by a faulty lung.
I hope he can be helped.

I just read about this too. Here's hoping for a swift recovery.
I have always loathed 'Camelot', but I do enjoy Mr. Goulet.
