I've just finished reading "The Body Farm" and "Cruel and Unusual". I think I might have missed some in between but I just grab any of the Scarpetta novels as and when I see them on the shelf at my local library.I've really enjoyed them all so far.I think my favourite character in them is Pete Marino. I could go on for ages but I better stop and let someone else share their opinions.

thanks 4 writing - i am just reading The Last Precinct. i agree with u - pete is a fine character - one whom i have a grudging respect 4. i really admire lucy - scarpetta's niece too.
i would b happy 2 provide u with the order of the books, but generally the way in which p cornwell writes the books allows u to fill in the gaps pretty much, doesn't she ?

I just finished Black Notice and Unnatural Exposure. The Scarpetta series is one of my favorites too. I think I've read all of them except The Last Precent

I also enjoyed Cornwell's Hornet's Nest centered around a female police chief in Charlotte, NC.

I love the Scarpetta books. I've read them all, so I'm eagerly awaiting the release of the newest one.

I have really enjoyed all of Cornwell's Kay Scarpetta books.
If you also enjoy her Scarpetta series you might enjoy a new series I've found by Kathy Reichs. Tempe Brennan is a female forensic anthropologist. I've read her "Death Du Jour" and " Deja Dead" and thought they were great. I am just starting a new one "Deadly Decisions".
