"Gou-let!"

Will Ferrell won't be as funny to me for awhile, his impersonation of Mr. Goulet is quite entertaining; it made me appreciate the artist that is Robert Goulet all over again. Sorry to hear of his passing, he was one of a kind.

Mr Goulet spent his teen years in my home town - it was not unusual when I was a kid to come across someone who had known him (it's a city of 1 million now, but was much smaller back then). In fact, I went to the same high school as he did!

One of the obits I read referred to his "manly" voice - it's true, you don't hear a strong baritone very much any more.
