I never thought I'd see a real sign with all those Allens, a real classic! And very nice work Jane.
Here's another picture of Lucy.

What a cutie Satquru.

Well it's finally snowed a little in the Great White North. Very little by our standards but I'm sure it's only the beginning.

Very nice work indeed Jane, and I'm drooling over your snow Argus.
This is our local, well local-ish bus terminus. It's about 4 miles away in Waltham Cross, and I often walk there through the Lea Valley regional park, then catch a bus back home.

Great photos, all - Lucy is such a pretty cat, Satguru. And I've always wanted to ride on one of those double decker buses, picqero - maybe one of these days!

I had a fun time in the kitchen this morning, baking and cooking for Thanksgiving tomorrow. Here are some pumpkin pies I made.

When I was at Durrell last week I ignored the 'Private, Staff Only' notice and went in search of a friend who volunteers each Thursday afternoon to chop fruit for some of the birds.

I interupted them for a while and took this photo of them.

After my "Tree dangler" yesterday, this is another sort of Dangler, which hangs from the ceiling and moves in the breeze.

An Autumn day in Virginia. Taken yesterday while in a moving vehicle, which is why the tree in the foreground is blurry.

My turn to post a snowy photo! It had not long changed from freezing rain to snow when I took this earlier today, and Winston was high-stepping to try to keep his feet warm.

After the heat of the summer we always have to restock the plants at the front of the house. 'Me 'anging barskit' is next in line..
I was so pleased with my 'steps' photo on Tuesday that I added a link to another shot.

Went down to the track for training last night, and it was flooded. The river had burst it's banks. This morning the river level had dropped by about 2 feet. This Photo I took is our club's home made Hammer cage. You can see the track at the back, it goes to show how sloping our track is.

This is one of the many views from Sunnyhill Park, which is right on top of a hill.

A bracing sunny day. A good one for cycling off-road. Here is a woodland scene from today's route:

Again very nice Jane. I have seen a lot of stitched cards on a website I visit, most are really lovely. so far I haven't tried sewing on cards, perhaps next year.
