Whew! Lots of photos to comment on this time. MG, Bella looks like a very sweet dog. Your mom sure is lucky to have her and vice versa, I'm sure. lady1, I love the photos of your boababs. Everytime I see a photo of one, I'm reminded of my favorte book "The Little Prince". And Sat, I have no idea what that is in your photo, but it looks like something from a dated NASA movie.

My picture is of my crazy, tree-climbing, think she's a cat, dog Clara-Sue. Since we've been in Virginia, every morning she runs to this same tree and climbs it hoping she'll catch one of the elusive squirrels she's been watching. This one shows she's not as graceful as a cat.

It was "Spouse Day" at DJ's squadron last week, so we all got to wear flight suits and get a high-speed taxi in an F-16. Unfortunately after only 2 taxies it blew a tire, so I never got to have a ride. Got photos, anyway!

A view of my sitting room, if you look closely you can see our very first Christmas card arrived today - from our own dear Sue! Now I have to start getting all the decorations out! Thanks Sue for the lovely card, I will return the gesture soon!

Our BBQ area is beginning to recover from the ravages of summer. It was my helper's birthday so we did the usual!If you look to the right you can just see Gnawra, who has to be tied up at BBQ's. She enjoys the perks though.

Just a rock with the river flowing rapidly around it. We'd just had a flurry of hail, wet snow and rain minutes before I took this around 11:30 this morning.

This is the company policy now with locomotives not required for 15 minutes.They reckon the loco's use up to 11 litres of fuel an hour just idling.

Sweet grandkids, cinnam0n! Big brother looks very protective of the little one already.
