Congatulations on finally uploading a photo DD, I hope we see the one of you next.
I nearly forgot to post here today as I already did, but it was for the bridges. I missed the sign one as well by the time I found it but there have been plenty I put up here.
This is a view I found for the first time of Hampstead Heath after having to turn the car round to avoid some road works. Pure chance as I'd never have gone there otherwise as it's a dead end.

Yes they are , and it beats me. As I say anything goes, here.

I meet this doggie, Lassie, and her owner most days that I go to Pilates. They live near the studio, and she gets about five walks along by the river each day! She's very friendly, and quite a dear.

Lovely location, satguru - looks so peacful and quiet.

A little break from my usual brown desert photos - this is a rose from my back yard. This particular bush is under the bird feeder, which explains the little white spots all around.

That looks nicely focussed djsgal ...and a good flower too

Here's my next door neighbours Glasgow Rangers fanatical house.

Billy doesn't drink,smoke, gamble or have anything to do with ladies.Rangers are his life.And he's a very good neighbour.

My wife and I have been in London the past two days, at a prestigious engineering awards ceremony last night, which was very nice. This morning we strolled along Oxford Street, and looked at the department store Christmas window displays. Selfridges was by far the best, and I liked this silver mini in one of their windows.

Here's one of the nicest front gardens I've seen for some time, in Golders Green.

When we were in Christchurch, New Zealand our group visited the International Antarctic Center. We went into a room that simulated -18 degrees celsius ( 0 F) with the wind blowing. This was suppose to give you an idea of what being in the Antarctic is like.



As we were from Canada we found it very refreshing after the warm day outside.

Was there a pic of DD here somewhere, last night? I think it was a wedding(?) with three lovely girls! Maybe it was just a DD fantasy projected...

I've no idea why the silver car image is now showing full size. It was the normal reduced size when I looked at it immediately after uploading

Amended post to say: On re-checking a few hours later, and without any alteration to the original posted image, it now appears normal reduced size - just one of those things I guess!

My train arriving into the yard.I took this one forward to Carlisle.The train eventually arrived at Drax power station(west yorkshire) where the coal is emptied for the production of electricity.
