Wow, Ren, are those horseshoe crabs? And why would anyone eat them?!

Congatulations on finally uploading a photo DD, I hope we see the one of you next.
I nearly forgot to post here today as I already did, but it was for the bridges. I missed the sign one as well by the time I found it but there have been plenty I put up here.
This is a view I found for the first time of Hampstead Heath after having to turn the car round to avoid some road works. Pure chance as I'd never have gone there otherwise as it's a dead end.

I meet this doggie, Lassie, and her owner most days that I go to Pilates. They live near the studio, and she gets about five walks along by the river each day! She's very friendly, and quite a dear.

Lovely location, satguru - looks so peacful and quiet.

A little break from my usual brown desert photos - this is a rose from my back yard. This particular bush is under the bird feeder, which explains the little white spots all around.

Here's my next door neighbours Glasgow Rangers fanatical house.

Billy doesn't drink, smoke, gamble or have anything to do with ladies.Rangers are his life. And he's a very good neighbour.

Don't know what happened to the links I had here.If you move pics on photobucket, does it scrub it on here?

Larger pic.

Keep persevering DD, and it'll get a lot easier I assure you.
My wife and I have been in London the past two days, at a prestigious engineering awards ceremony last night, which was very nice. This morning we strolled along Oxford Street, and looked at the department store Christmas window displays. Selfridges was by far the best, and I liked this silver mini in one of their windows.

That looks like 1968 picqero, I hope the fashions are going that way rather than just a one off.

Here's one of the nicest front gardens I've seen for some time, in Golders Green.

When we were in Christchurch, New Zealand our group visited the International Antarctic Center. We went into a room that simulated -18 degrees celsius ( 0 F) with the wind blowing. This was suppose to give you an idea of what being in the Antarctic is like.

As we were from Canada we found it very refreshing after the warm day outside.

Was there a pic of DD here somewhere, last night? I think it was a wedding(?) with three lovely girls! Maybe it was just a DD fantasy projected...

I've no idea why the silver car image is now showing full size. It was the normal reduced size when I looked at it immediately after uploading

Amended post to say: On re-checking a few hours later, and without any alteration to the original posted image, it now appears normal reduced size - just one of those things I guess!

It's the right size from here anyway picqero.

DD said he tried to post one of him but didn't work, maybe it showed for a while and vanished for some reason, but it's not here now.

edited- oops, yes, I forgot that little detail... Just my enthusiasm to see a new face there.

This is where I go a couple of times a week for Pilates and yoga. Photo was taken from the riverbank.

Presumably in the building, not on the waste ground in front of it

Rule 6 of the photo-a-day posting guide, here, states "Photos displayed or linked to must have been taken by yourself and with the camera pointing away from you. The idea of Photo-a-Day is that we all see what you saw. This means that photos won't include yourself", so images of oneself cannot be posted but can be referred to by a link.

My silver car image now shows as normal posted reduced size, so no idea what happened there!

Since this thread is for posting photos, I won't take up too much page space by commenting on rule 6. I have posted about it here instead.

argus9 I have been to the International Antarctic Center as well, we found it to be a mite chilly in that room.

It can get rather windy at times where I live, as these trees show

This is the small church in Germany where our son and daughter-in-law were married. The tree in front of the door looks to have bushed out a bit since then. A nice setting I reckon:
