I have no clue! Just trying to do the right thing, which apparently is way wrong. Didn't know where to join, etc. I think I'll just bow out gracefully. I'm better working alone :0)

No, you're doing fine Leisa...please stay and enjoy the game! If you stick around, you can get one and then toss out another of your favorite literary works.

Can't stand the pressure, but thanks anyway. You've been very nice, but the effort to be clever is not the kind of energy I want to expend right now. I'll stick to quizzes. Enjoy your chat. Best :0)

Please please stay and join us Leisa. We are having a lot of fun here. We really enjoy the company of others that love literature as we do. Please stay and let us have your thoughts. Ours is a very small group. We welcome you enormously!

Okay, here goes:

If you have to be disinherited, you might as well be noble about it.

Burl Ives would get this right away.

Another clue:

The hero was loved by two beautiful women; one blond, one brunette. He loved the blond, but he fought for the brunette.

That's it. Ivanhoe is Burl Ives middle name. Ivanhoe went by the alias "Disinherited" in the tournament.

I have to give credit to Mrs. Justawful for that one.

Lets try this:

The new regime becomes worse than the old one.

I was thinking, since the current users list is on the fritz, perhaps all players could leave a little message if we are drawing a blank. That way, the person whose turn it is will know whether or not to leave another clue.
Just a thought.
