Lol!! I have to tell you this, Sue was last seen doing herself up to go and get her photo taken for her "twirly" pass! I said don't go OTT they won't let you on the bus, or belief you are a wrinkly! What a hoot!

Sara, perhaps we will have to get Sue this hat, just to be sure she receives all her entitlements.

Who needs the hat! I just went to collect the form for my free bus pass, very bureaucratic process but I will have it in a week or so. Then I went to the museum to collect my Gold Card, this gives free access for life to any of our museums and heritage sites, normal adult entrance fee is £5.80 pr visit. Next I went to the supermarket and told them I would be in on Wednesday to take advantage of the 10% OAP discount.

I will hardly be at home.

My Mum retired on that day too, Sue, after 45 years of work (with ten years child rearing there as well) and before the day even finished she had her concession pass and was most excited about it!

Not the nicest pic of you Sue - you look much nicer with the bubbly perm - as in your forum pic

Although having said that - if you saw MY passport pic you would scream ! lol
