Hi!
Would someone help me with a simple cryptogram?

YZYXNMLNXMZ is supposed to be a word but I cannot decipher it. I have even tried various cryptogram solvers without any success. Any ideas?

Thanks

I would give up with this one, if I were you. I have tried everything I know, and I cannot decipher it either.
I've tried forward and reverse alphabetical transposition, left and right keyboard transposition, plus a whole range of other cipher techniques, and it's got me stumped :-(

Is it supposed to be an English word? There are no vowels.

I take it as a simple letter substitution cryptogram but I got nowhere with it either. I strongly suspect it's scientific, either an organic chemical name or medical term, or a word based heavily on Greek roots. But I could be wildly out, LOL

This has been occupying me in odd moments since it was posted lol - there is such a nice pattern to the letters in terms of the repeated ones, there must be a lovely word in there somewhere
I found several possible endings, but stick on one letter each time for the start - I have a feeling it might be an obscure word that only Stephen Fry would know!

You are welcome WG12, but if you do manage to solve it, then PLEASE let us know - there are a few of us who would be most interested in the solution!

I wasn`t going to post here but I have been having a go at breaking this code and have had some interesting results, sadly I haven`t got the foolscap sized piece of paper that I was using to help me. After trying a few things including the numerical difference between the original letters, backwards, moving one space back etc etc I did,I seem to recall(without proof it is hard to post here) that the first four letters that I came up with that followed the same reasoning exactly when breaking the code were..... C.O.D.E.. I`ll maybe try and get some more letters one day,if I find my piece of wretched paper again.

I`m not one hundred percent sure about my results, look really as far as I know now the letters were just random scribble, but I do recall that my methods were logical.
