And this is Jellybean. she is now 1 year old and loves to get into trouble and anoying our old cat Buttons. this morning I found toilet paper all over the hallway and the bathroom. No point shuting doors as she knows how to open them.
I will show tomorrow why she parked herself into this space on the roof of our house

You have all posted extraordinary photos! It's such a pleasure to view them.

I saw that we're talking Christmas cards, and as I received these, both in the same day, here they are...

The beautiful one on the left is from JaneMarple, with a lovely, lovely Christmas decoration as a bonus - I've been such a good girl this year !

On the right we have another exquisite Miss Sue creation - The Three Snow-keteers

It's been quite mild and sunny between the rain here, which also means the parks are almost flooded and very muddy.
Here is the brook just before it joins the start of the River Brent in Hendon.

What great photos one and all. This is a cross stitch I finished last Christmas but just got it framed this year. Sorry about the reflections.

Wonderful photos, all!

Lioness, I thought for sure that was sky!! It even looked like it had clouds in it. Very neat tricky photo.

Peggy - can't wait to see what your cat was up to.

We had a bit more rain today - and I just took this photo of a rainbow out my window about 20 minutes ago.

Gorgeous rainbow!

Peggy, your cat looks like a sweetie - surely can't have been naughty

Here we have - more ice (sorry...). This time it appears to be ready to slip off the awning above my computer room window. It's still there as I type, and I'm sure I'll jump if I'm sitting here when it goes.

By way of contrast to the shot above, taken on "Auto" which invoked the flash, this photo was taken a moment later on "Program" which used available light.

Argus I love your cross stitch christmas tree

Jellybean is trouble alright but also very loving and gives lots of kisses. No wonder she doesn't get told off.

Here is why she was up on the roof

Baby birds. My daughter said she has seem three heads poking out waiting to be fed. She has found out they are nesting there. She can't get at them through that tiny hole so they are safe from her but it does stop Mum and Dad from feeding them. But I am more concern about the hot weather we are having at the moment and it may too hot for them under the roof. When we are sure they have left the nest we will cover the hole so they can't nest there anymore

Hmmmm. Think I did it right.
Here is my Christmas tree.. after my 15 month old knocked it over. I did the best I could do without having to do it over entirely!

Welcome to the forums Tami, and especially to the Photo-a-day thread. Nice image for your first post!
I usually post in the evening local time, but have just photographed the sunrise - from the same bedroom window as used on a couple of my recent posted images - so here it is:

These three 'blue angels'are funny. No use for the top of the tree as they are too heavy. But fun.

Yay. Nice to see that, after a few days buried, there really is a navigable road out there. First significant snowfall of the year handled ... it'll be a piece of cake from here on in .

The end of the shops on Finchley Road in Temple Fortune. I think the name speaks for itself.

Wow what a picture lioness. Very impressive.

Oh Gats the snow looks lovely (as long as you don't have to shovel it yourself )

Cute baby birds Peggy.

Love the angels Ren.

Sossusvlei is a salt pan in the Namib-Naukluft National Park. Fed by the Tsauchab River, it is known for the high, red sand dunes which surround it, forming a major sand sea. These footprints were made over 10 years ago when the salt pan was wet last.

I'm not seeing lioness' photo. I love your cross stitch, argus. I used to do that, but haven't in awhile. Gats, your photo really does look like a Currier & Ives, really beautiful.

I was tossing old bread crumbs out to the birds yesterday and this fellow looked quite fierce.

Today I went to a craft demonstration/workshop and the store has a large toy department. Various strangely dressed individuals were walking about, like elves, Batman (?), Pooh Bear and others. This gentleman took an interest in what we were doing.
