How do I attach one of those pithy or witty or just plain daft signatures?

Click on "My Home" - it's on top of the page after the Welcome darksplash message .

Once in there, you'll see a line/row that says "Basic Profile" and somewhere at the right of it you click on "Edit". Somewhere mid-page you'll find the Signature 'spot' where you can edit it and Preview it if you wish.
After you're done with it, go to the bottom of the same page and click "Submit".
