On Thanksgiving, one of my brother-in-law's downloaded something called an ATF_cleaner.exe that is on my desktop.
I think it maybe causing some problems with my computer. I can't seem to figure out how to uninstall it. I went to the Add Remove Programs in Control Panel and I don't see it listed.

ATF Cleaner is a 'stand-alone' program and as such, doesn't install like other programs. Therefore, an uninstaller isn't needed. To remove the program, it should be sufficient to move 'ATF-Cleaner.exe' into the Recycle Bin.

ATF-Cleaner.exe is indeed a stand-alone program. It is just a single executable file and creates no other files or application extensions.

If you want to delete it, you could directly do it by pressing: "Shift+Del".

Anyway, are sure that it is this program that causes problems???
Think about it.

I myself find this program very useful and do not do any instability in my system. It is used to sweep your computer of unneeded and trash files like in the "Temporary Folder" and "Internet Cache".

Not sure if it's the cause of some of my new problems that started though after we put them on my computer.
It hasn't helped any of the things I was hoping it may help.
My brother-in-law will be coming over later this evening for Christmas Eve Dinner. So, I can try and ask him to help a bit if he has time. On Thanksgiving when he was over and looking at my computer and seeing the stuff the repairman we had out did to my computer his opinion is to find help online from different computer help message boards.

Anyways, alot of the problems I keep having is since around March of this year after switching from Earthlink Dialup to Bellsouth DSL which my nephew loaded all this spyware on my computer from the installation cd Bellsouth sent us.
I keep having problems with my computer being so slow and the CPU usage going up to 100% and causing me to not be able to use things like my scanner or anything like that anymore. Plus so slow to open the browsers and every other program takes forever for it things to come up.

So, the repairman tried getting the stuff off but didn't complete the job of getting it all out. There are still so much Bellsouth stuff on my computer, folders and stuff that have stuff in it and also he put AVG on my computer but I still seem to have Norton stuff too that never got out all the way too and AVG keeps freezing on certain parts of the scan for like 20 minutes or so too.
