I have just finished reading "Shock" and it was indeed a shock. The is the worst Cook book I have ever read. It seemed as if he just slapped something together to meet a deadline or something. The characters were unlikeable and the story implausable. It truly stunk. Your opinions???

What a pity, I normally enjoy his books and would buy the paperback once it comes out - I still might but won't be tempted to buy the 'airside' edition which tends to be more costly, I will wait for the cheaper edition.
