Continuing my boat saga - I've always liked the idea of owning my own boat, moored outside my property, but I'd rather hoped my aspirations would give me something better than this! It's now taken up permanent residence, a rope having fastened itself somehow to an old post. It's not really what I had in mind.... I suppose I'll just have to wait for it to break up as it smashes against the wall of the builing. Noisy! I think I prefer it this way up

OnimisiB, your photos are really fascinating. Keep posting, I would love to see some more of Nigeria.

I know Christmas is now over, however my five-year-old and I had great fun making some ( more) christmas biscuits this afternoon . Here are some cooling down before we tucked in. Very yummy they were too

Thanks Kapuskasing. If you all will indulge me...I have just one more picture (ok, two more) to post of my trip to Atlantic City. This one is a sunrise, and no, I wasn't just making it in for the night I was actually getting ready to leave. Here's a larger version of another one I liked. Close up sunrise

Those are beautiful, ClaraSue! Your life reminds me a lot of that Johnny Cash song, "I've Been Everywhere". Do you know it? Check out the lyrics here: Johnny Cash Lyrics And on to my photo of the day... Our dog Ellie will be 14 next month, and so her hearing is not near what it used to be. Which allows me to sneak up and take this picture of her sleeping..

Awww...djsgal, that is adorable! I want to give her a hug! Some of these outdoor shots lately have been just incredible. Agony, I never get tired of your snow pictures, and that sunset from ClaraSue is gorgeous... This is my "indoor" snowman (whose name is Joe, just in case you care). I have a quite extensive snowman collection - so many, in fact, that I wait to put them out until I have taken the Christmas decorations down. Joe is the largest!

A computer with a screw loose. Who said trains are fast? Loading last night at 0.9 mph. These new Loco's, made in Canada/America come fitted with slow speed control for loading/unloading purposes. You could say, set it and forget it.

DD, The name on the unit sounds like it could be a disco group or dance from the 80s! Sandy

Tangerines are cheap now, next week they will double. Lucky fruit for CNY...
