This one is a few days overdue, but I felt like posting something old today. It is a drawing by my German great-great-great grandfather, who was a lithographer in London and various other European cities before he came to the USA in 1850, where he was one of the pioneers of chromolithography (gorgeous color printing) in this country. He died in Philadelphia in 1908.
