My daughter has been getting severe headaches, and one of her teachers recommended colouring, to get rid of them. It helps! I've looked into this a bit, it's called colouring therapy. Here's one of the ones she did.

That is beautiful, Agony! I must say I'm amazed though - I think coloring that kind of pattern would GIVE me a headache, not take it away!

Here is one of those bamboo balls that you find all over Asia. I got this one in Malaysia. You have to keep it in the air and you are only allowed to use your feet.

So THAT'S what they are for. My sister in law sent several to my kids over the years, from their travels, and we just thought they were for looking at.

This is the quilt from my bed... (and no, I didn't make it - please see thread on "left or right" in the Lounge )

A few years ago, hubby and I stayed the night in an old bordello that has been turned into a hotel in northern Washington State. We stayed in the madam's room. Here you can see that the wall and bedspread pattern are very much alike.

Great patterns, posters! I like to see what everyone comes up with on a certain theme.

This is mine - grape arbor in winter. I'm partial to crops like this - I love the way they line up in all directions.

It IS interesting, isn't it djsgal? That's why I'm beginning to love the Photo section and expecially the theme section so much. Friends and family always thought I was joking when I said I could sit for hours and look at their photos. I don't have to know the people or places to get an enjoyment out of what I see.

Yes it is because we are from all over the world and have such a diversity of background too. It makes for a fascinating forum, you are right.

People certainly have some interesting photos. I took this one while on our trip to Australia. It's an inside shot of a former bank building roof in Melbourne. The building has been transformed into a shopping mall.

I loved the colours in the bark of this tree after rain.

I'm making emrboidery "squares" of Aida, so, that hopefully, it can stitch the squares onto a quilt, as a throw over for my new great-nephew/niece for the future. This is the first one - a Harry Potter themed one
