Yes, I immediately thought of the stained glass windows in the lovely and quite exclusive Hong Kong Football Club , where I went for lunch recently.

I could have a field day with this theme. I am fond of windows and take lots of pics of them, but this one is probably one of the most unusual I've ever come across. This was found at a neighbor's home just up the street from me while living in Brussels. I'd never seen a window like this before, nor since.

Mine looks a quite an ordinary sash window, but there is a reason for the pane of glass being replaced with a letter box and it not being part of the door furniture.



The lovely door of the property is extremely old - parts of this street date back to 15th century and before.

I just discovered this impressive set yesterday in Finchley.

There is a place up in the Colorado Mountains near my parents house where a family named Bishop have built a castle out of stone. Bishop Castle was built from the ground up by this one family since 1969, I believe, and is still under construction. Visitors can come view and walk through, at their own risk. This is a view looking up to the windows on a higher level. This place is incredible.




Here is a larger view of the castle itself. That's my stepdaughter walking up the stairs in the front to my husband and stepson on the landing, and my parents can be seen in the lower right corner.

We were eating dinner on a particularly choppy evening during our cruise, when we spied these brave crew cleaning the windows..

I had a few candidates for this one, but decided in the end to use the one I had in mind when I suggested the theme.

This lovely window is on one of the buildings downtown, viewed from an alleyway across the main street. Photo was taken last summer, when I was out taking shots for the "Walls" theme
