I don't know how many of you are familiar with her, but author Phyllis Whitney passed away on Friday at age 104. When I was a young teen, my aunt introduced me to Whitney's mysteries, and they were the first non-"children's" books that I read. Ms. Whitney published books until she was 94 years old.
