I am trying to figure out what type of software/programs I would need in order to create wallpaper/backgrounds for like myspace or other just other sites I've created, stuff like that using multiple images I've scanned?
I've got Paintshop Pro. Not sure if that would do it or if so, would there be any websites that I could possibly find some instructions on how exactly to create a background using multiple images?

Thanks,
Amy

Are you looking to create the background as several images blended into 1, or as several images put onto a webpage using HTML.
With HTML, I can't help you, but if you are going for the first option, PaintShop Pro should be fine. Gimp, Photoshop, and Arcsoft Photostudio will all do what you want as well. They should all have tutorials with them, bit if they don't, have a bit of an experiment around and see what you can do.
Basically just be creative, you can come up with some amazing looking stuff.

Yes, trying to create the background using several images on 1.
Here is a couple of sites with an example of what I'm trying to do.

Here is a link to just the background they used though

They have several different pictures on the background.

In Paintshop Pro:

First, you need to find out the size for your picture.

Let's say your MySpace page is 800 x 600.

In Paintshop Pro create a new image 800 x 600 pixels. The background color doesn't matter.

Now, in PSPro, open all of the photos you want to include.

Left click on one of them to bring the focus to that picture, right click on it and select COPY.

Now, go back to your 800x600 blank image , left click on it for focus, and then right click and select "PASTE AS NEW SELECTION".

This will paste the smaller image into your 800x600 image and the small photo will be selected so you can move it around and place it where you like.

Repeat the same for all the photos and when finished, save your picture as a JPG, GIF, or BMP.

Daboosh, I hope you'll agree with me when I say that a BMP file will eat up a lot of 'her space' on "MySpace" .
Better stick to JPG or GIF.
