Ok, so I'm trying to install a Japanese IME on my computer, but the website has confused me. It has said something about not needing the IME if you are running Office 2000, but you do need it if you are running XP.

My problem is that I am running Office 200, but my OS is XP.

the system requirements are:
System Requirements
Supported Operating Systems: Windows 2000; Windows 98; Windows ME; Windows NT
This download works with the following Office applications:
Office XP

It's what I need, but reversed. I want one that will work with Office 2000, but Windows XP.
I would be really grateful if anyone could help, as I have Japanese homework due soon, and I was hoping to finish it on this computer.

Thanks, Ella.

never mind, I think I've figured it out.

There is an option for either the IME for W2000 with Office 2000, or for Office 2003/XP. I can't have both in one.

I will just have to obtain a copy of Office 2003, which I have lying around at mum's house, and install it on this computer.
