Anyone else read any Robert Rankin stuff? He's a similar sort of writer to Terry Pratchett (sci/fi fantasy) but way more off the planet. I love the Brentford Trilogy (you have to love Pooley and Omally) but they get a little bizarre when it gets to 'Nostradamus ate My Hamster' and 'the Dance of the Voodoo Handbag'!
