This thing with Spitzer has been puzzling me since it started. Just like when it was Clinton.
My biggest issue is that men cheat (yes, I know so do women), but the thing is that majority of the men in office have done so since President Washington.
The only thing that is unclear with Spitzer is if he used his own money or taxpayer's money.
Regardless, the issue of Spitzer "getting it" from somewhere other than his wife, to me is a personal issue.
I mean if Mrs. Spitzer were that unhappy with her husband and his cheating ways, in my opinion she wouldn't have went on television with him (yes, I know she only stood near him, and did not hold his hand), but this sends a message "that well, yes I know he cheated, but I too, enjoy the position and power, so will go along and be a dutiful wife". That is what I see from Mrs. Spitzer.
As far as Spitzer being brought up on charges, well to me it just seems wrong, yes I am aware prostitution is an illegal activity, but the fact remains that he is not the first, and surely won't be the last one in office to do such a thing. So why his he made to be an example?
The cheating issue should be a personal one between himself and his wife, and if she has any guts about her, she would divorce him, but something tells me that she won't...just like Hilary didn't kick 'ole Billy boy to the curb.
When a man is in a position of power, the women tend to go with the flow of their cheating ways, because they too, enjoy the title and being known in the political arena.
Just my opinons.
