I've had a DLink-524 router for over a year now, and I haven't been home for the past 3 months and I came home yesterday, and yesterday and today, it will say it's connected on my laptop and I can use it, but after a while, it says it's connected but when I use my browser, it won't connect to any websites. So I have to disable the wireless connection on my laptop and then enable it again, and it works again; until after a while, it does the same thing again. Is there anything that I can do to stop this from happening, I see on the router when I access it that my laptop is a Dynamic DHCP and I can change it to a Static DHCP, does that have to do with anything? Thanks for any help!

Could something have changed since you went away? Might something be interfering with the signal? Perhaps try moving the computer a little closer to the router to see if the problem clears up. I don't think changing from dynamic DHCP to static to would make a difference to the problem.
