Agony, that is generally what I do and it works. China and the more obscure parts of Russia get me. You could be in the same country but 4000km off!

Things such as Van Gogh Museum, Holland - you basically just click in Holland - you'll never be far off.

OK, fourth try and I got to level 12, but didn't quite make it. Christmas Island, Marianas Island - not even in the right ocean.

If it was me I probably would've ended up clicking in the middle of one of the oceans.

I made it to level 10...only got 31600 of the required 50,000. My traveler IQ was 110.

Can I use as an excuse that the perspective is way off, once you get closer to the poles? I can't get closer than 600 kms to my own home town....

I'm finding this stupid thing addictive - I keep getting to the last level, but not beating it. Oh, well, guess I'm learning something.

Well, don't know about 'excuse' but will accept 'reason'

I find the map too small to get to those little islands. Need a bigger screen.

I really enjoyed this, got as far as 11 with 47055 points, but I needed 55000.
I'm a very slow clicker, and I'm poor on Canadian geography!

Level 11 48499, still not enough for level 12.

Made it to level 10. An amazing achievement for someone who is the product of the American public school system!

That map is WAY too small. I can do a blank fill in the names of the countries and their capital cities, but I cannot get a decent score in this game. My Traveler IQ was so low, it was laughable.
It was.... I'm going to have to leave you hanging

Let me just say that you wouldn't want to hand me a compass and that map and except me to be your tour guide.

I have always accepted that I suck at geography - and this has just proved me right!

I got to level 7 on my first attempt, and I think that was more good luck than good management (a couple of questions on Australian cities, a few on London, Ireland and France, as well as the USA) and I can't go any further no matter how many times I try!

Geography - one of the subjects on my list of things to learn more about ...

First try--366,218 points, level 10. Really is a small map. Fun; maybe I'll brush up and try again.

I think, for me anyway, good old fashioned luck has a lot to do with a score I just got. I got through level 10 - which is astonishing considering I get lost going around the block.

Why do I say luck - after all, my memory is still pretty good? I scored 3km from Buckingham Palace, 3km from Sydney, 14km from The Louvre, 22km from York, and 32km from The Smithsonian.

This from a person who had no idea that some of the places I was tested on actually existed!

I would like to say I need a bigger screen - but I honestly don't think that will help me much. I'm still terrible at geography.

I applaud all those who do well at this game!
