All the pictures here are , as usual, so good and so varied. I think you can never see enough flars, Susan, they are lovely. The man who owns this van makes hoardings, and he is just about to load one into the van. Sometimes they are for Village festivals, or newly opened shops and businesses. There also ones for funerals. They are always lovely to see. As a side note, the van was sold by us to a guy in another village where we lived years ago. When I saw the numberplate again, I was amazed at the coincidence.

I'm sorry to hear about your sailing buddy, picqero. That's a nice picture. This picture of ClaraSue was taken in Mississippi last week. There are fields and fields of these little maroon flowers all over the state. The color of Clara's collar was the exact shade of the flowers.

Thanks, agony, for coming up with that King title before it drove me nuts! Love all the photos, as usual, and that van story is wild, Sara. I agree, never too many flowers or should I say 'flars'. That's a beautiful picture of ClaraSue. She looks as if she is 'surveying' her property to make sure all is well. picqero, I am so sorry to hear about your friend. This has been a tough few months for you hasn't it? Thankfully we have memories and photos that will never leave us....

Today was a beautiful Spring day and I went to have lunch at a garden centre. Afterwards we drove to a tiny beach for a cup of tea and a slice of cake at the cafe there. We sat outside and the sun was really warm on the back of my neck. The beach is called Archirondel.

Sorry to hear about your friend Picqero, I can see you enjoyed many happy hours sailing together. Here's what looks like a smart library but is in fact the 1930s inside of Sudbury Town station, still looking like new.

One of these fellows was today's lunch. Went to Sai Kung with the members of the old folks community where I help out. We all had a grest seafood nosh- up. Don't let anyone tell you that elderly people don't eat much! Some of the 'gannets' from the Home!

Out at Sai Kung yesterday and took this shot from the waterfront where the seafood restaurant was. There is every sort of seacraft there including these three:> a traditional sampan, an outboard and a little dinghy. It's a fascinating place.
