Ok a new type of quiz game. I'll explain the rules:

Each day until sunday I will post a question here.
The questions are to test your resourcefulness not your knowledge therefore using google, encyclopedias etc are allowed and encouraged.
in other words come by the answers by whatever means you can (except by asking me )

Answer is to be Pm'ed to me. I will post the correct answer with the next question and we will have a little roll of honour at the end.

First question a fairly easy one to get you going...

How many martian (the planet) days are in an earth year?

1 hour to go. So far a dissapointing 1 correct answer.

A couple more answers coming in now. I'm off for a game of golf so I'll extend the time to answer the first question until I return.

In the meantime I will post the second question:

Kyle and Jack are friends. But for how long will messrs Black and Gass remain friends?

I'm afraid that nobody got that one right. Everyone misread the question. I asked for the number of MARTIAN days in an EARTH year.

It required a little working out as it is easy to find out the number of earth days in a martian year (687) or number of martian days in a martian year or sols (670)

Anyway, one martian day is 24H 39M and 35 secs
so there are 355 martian days in an earth year.
