I haven't looked back through the Photo-a-Day thread to find the photo (honest ) but I think it looks so much like the sky that I'm going to say we're seeing 'water', possibly reflecting the sky.

Wow. That is amazing. Nice one, Lioness. So can anyone jump in now and put up a photo? If no one has by the time the house quietens down tonight I'll do one.

Yes anyone can post a photo. Recommendations can be found by following the link in the first post. That's also the place to talk about 'What is it?' thread. Rather than have rules, we hope to just let it run and maybe only make a rule or two if the thread runs into any problems.

Ah, that sounds about right Martin, it could be Conor's first tooth that fell out last week!

It looks like a bit of chalk used to mark things off in sewing. We know that Copago has been sewing a few things on her machine (remember when she asked about needle sizes?).
So, my guess would be a piece of sewing chalk.

Yep the tooth fairy came - but Dad had to organise all that as the two of them went camping that night. His second one fell out a couple days later. I'll agree with the CD too, Slew. Quite an artistic shot for an accident
