Great Photos all, it's been awhile since I've posted any photos, mainly because I've been busy doing the spring cleanup and planting. I'm hoping I'll be able to get some good shots of the flowers once they start. In the meantime here is a shot of a giant football from our trip to Disney World a couple of years ago. We stayed at a Sport themed hotel on their property.

Most people who think of London think of the red buses, although we lost many of them in the 90s for a while. Here's a typical example in Hampstead.

While at Devon, we saw a demonstration of equestrian vaulting -- gymnastics (with elements of dance) performed on a horse cantering in a 15-meter circle. They even jump up onto the horse while it's cantering!

Djsgal, how about trying a backwards somersault next time you have to dismount from Feather?

As You see, the shops in the Border closed area are really trendy...

The firemen were washing cars again for charity so I couldn't miss the opportunity of ogling their behinds!

Lovin' all your photos, everybody ! My contribution today is nothing much, I guess (but, doubtful ol' cynic that I can often be, this "thing" is bringing out a sense of child-like silliness in me). I took a pic of the nest that *poof* showed up on my porch shortly back, now it has a resident . Hard to see him, I'm afraid ... and I didn't want to disrupt things by taking too much time to get the most ideal shot (I tell ya, that Mama bird freaks out when you get too close to her nursery - she gets entirely Jurassic Park-ish ). But he or she is so tiny in there! Just a wad of bald spots and fuzz ...

Here's the platform of Gunnersbury station in Chiswick which is part of a large office block. The walls on the side are the car parks and the building is at the back of the picture out of sight.

I love your "child-like silliness", Gats, and I don't think it is silly at all! There is a sense of wonder, I think, in being able to observe the instincts of tiny birds who indeed are viciously protective of their young. They are, after all, like the mama lions we women on here are. Do not mess with my babies either!

It rained really hard this afternoon, complete with thunder and lightning, then turned into quite a pleasant evening. You can see that the street is still quite wet. I like the contrast in the leaves of these two trees, though the one on the left looks more yellow in "real" life.

Still at the Devon Horse Show -- the website said dogs weren't allowed due to local health regulations, but that was baloney... hmm, perhaps I should say, "a load of horse manure".

I have mangoes! Last year I had no mangoes. They are my favourite. I am going to tie Gnawradawg up to the tree to guard them from marauders when they are ripe.
