Mags, when you type a reply it comes up in a new window before going on the board. The smilies are down the page a little, you add them at that stage,but be careful because there are two lots, you want the bottom ones, then hit 'continue' and then 'submit'

Hi Roofoo! Thanks very much. This is the first forum I have joined, and I'm glad I did. Once I figure out how to 'bold' you will see me on more links. (And yes, I read the FAQ, it's more of a problem with my having a Spanish keyboard with an English character menu, I just have to find where those darn square brackets are hidden) But fear not, I shall find them!

MadMags, no need to search your character set. When you want to reply, don't type in the white box at the bottom of the page. Hit the reply button on the last post,it's in the top right corner, it will then take you to the reply page where all of the bold , italic and underline buttons are, as well as the smilies.

Ahhh, another mad creature. Watch out world, we are taking over!

romeo, how can I thank you? Half my worldly kingdom? A beer (or three) next time you're in town? This is so much less convoluted than changing back and forth from Spanish and English keyboard. I have a hard enough time doing that verbally, yet alone on the computer.
