I guess I should introduce myself.
I'm a U.S. citizen, currently living in Florida, although I've spent several years in various other countries.
My only real hobby is reading, mostly SF/Fantasy.
I am owned by 5 cats.
Please call me "luna", it's my preferred name.

I know we aren't supposed to ask questions here, but now I'm going to.
Are the "instant graemlins" the only ones available, and if not, how do I access the rest?

I can already tell that this is a good group of people, and I look forward to growing into your community.

Gidday Luna, and welcome, from Australia. Have a look around, and I am sure that you will find something that you like.

And in answer to your 'unasked' question, the graemlins listed below are the only available ones.

Well, piffle.
I was hoping for wider range of emoticons, since I'm a very emotional kind of person.

Oh well, needs must.

Thanks, ozzz, for the welcome and for the info.

Boy, I can understand this statement! I'm owned by 8 critters of the feline variety.

And a hearty welcome from me also, luna! This is definitely a great group of people, a little 'strange' at times , but good people all around.

I'm finding the people here to be very kind and very helpful to a computer near-illiterate.
Short-term memory loss, that's the problem.

Perfectly understandable, Luna. Not only am I functionally illiterate when it comes to modems and keyboards, I have a hard time remembering that I can't remember.

Yet another analogue soul in this digital world welcomes you.

Hello from Pittsburgh, Luna. You can add me to the list of functionally illiterate computer people here. FT is loads of fun with so much to do. I'm sure you'll have a great time at this site!
