Nice pic Mags

No real trickery to this one, it's all done with mirrors!



I took it in a cafe which had a table in an alcove. The walls of the alcove were mirrored & only a couple of feet apart. I set the camera's self timer, put it on the table - pointing at one of the walls & stood back. It came out quite well I thought.

This is a very simple photo transformation using Virtual Painter. I made a tiny effects change in another program.

Martin: way to think outside the box! (or umm, with mirrors would that really be INside the box? lol) Anyway, cool idea that worked out very well!

Mags: oh my, "cast in stone" is gorgeous, truly! And amazing how you managed to capture that pic just as the water droplet was rising from the center. Wonderful.

Professor: interesting tweaking there. Reminds me of complicated "string art"

DeputyG: I like the colours too! The whole thing looks like a hand-painted piece by a graphic artist - very good!

Ripening Bananas

I no longer own this Gretsch guitar, but I always liked the way it looked in two tones of wood. I turned it gold for this image.

Yellow flower with tile reflection effect in paint.net.



Paint.net is a fun, free program. You can do the standard effects--artistic, blur, distort, etc. And there are plug-ins available to do even more.

I love the flower reflection, it is lovely!

This was taken inside a cave and I turquoised it up but to be honest, the original colour was good too!
