I think I see Lawrence Welk blowing the bubbles down in the corner! What a hoot! I'm ordering me up some Champagne and accordion music.

I did this with Photoshop Elements. It's called an 'out of bounds' (OOB) picture, where the subject should appear to be coming out of the edge of the photo. Not sure how well this one works:

This plant was growing on the canyon wall in Zion Canyon. I used DigiKam's editor to turn it into a kaleidoscopic image with 10 points.

Sorry for all the blank spaces in previous posts. It's down to Photobucket changing their terms of use a while back and I couldn't stay with them. Hence all images once hosted there are now gone. Anyway, this one drawn in Xara Designer should show (hosted on Imgur). smile

Thanks ertrum. I haven't been on the Internet too much over recent times. Still alive and kicking though. smile

Just found this cool photo taking tool my new phone has. Some kind of combination of time lapse and light tracing.

These are the Christmas lights on our town square. Plus me moving my camera around. I'll post a normal picture of the lights on the square later so you can compare the two. smile

Still experimenting with this new phone. This is one of those figit spinners. And more light tracing.

I'm sorry not to have noticed this question before. You'll probably see that I'm not a very frequent poster these days. smile

It took a couple of hours to complete the drawing but wasn't as difficult to produce as might be thought. It's just a matter of having the right program to do it. Unfortunately, I didn't keep a copy of the image in its original file format, so I can't show how that particular one was made. However, it was done in a similar manner to the image shown below. A vector drawing program is needed for this. 'Xara Designer' is the one I used. As can be seen, the parts of the image are all individual pieces put together to make the finished article.

In a vector drawing program, it's possible to arrange the separate bits in any way you want them to be, so that one bit might sit in front or behind another bit. Therefore the marbles can be made to sit behind the front of the box and when everything is in place, they look to be inside it. That's how the orange ball is made to appear inside the box.

When that's done, the image is saved as a jpeg and the rest is an effect applied in another program, much the same as your phone does to the images you have posted.

That's cool! My new computer has some 3D image making software that I haven't had time to get into fully. You can add images and different animations to your photos with it.

I'm always experimenting with stuff and I just started my own art photography studio. Already have my pictures hanging for sell in my friend's antique shop. And some business have some hanging in them too. A furniture store that's been in business for 100 years has a neat porcelain neon sign that I did a 2 by 2 square using different filters. Turned out good and it's on the March thread if you want to check it out.

Here's my latest one. I'm getting better at controlling the effect. The time delay makes it hard to tell what you are getting while you are doing it.

I like all those effects. smile I don't know if you might be interested is in this:

I recently installed a program called 'BlueStacks' on my W.10 Desktop computer. This is an 'Android emulator' that lets you run the Android system on a Windows computer. Good for if you want to use an App that is only available for Android on a Windows computer and a large monitor. The program takes a while to load once it is installed but it seems to do the job well when up and running.

The effect on the 'orange ball in a box' image was applied after saving it as a jpeg. There's a program called 'Painnt' (spelling correct) available for download from the Microsoft Store. All sorts of effects can be applied with this.

I'll check that out for sure. My Android phone is what I use for those light tracing pictures and my desktop is a Windows 10.

Thanks!

That's a LED solar light in the form of a stack of dragonflies in that photo. I bought it for my cat to look at....yeah sure.
