Some interesting effects there DireWolf ..and all good fun too.

That's really good! How long did it take you to draw that?
I'm sorry not to have noticed this question before. You'll probably see that I'm not a very frequent poster these days.

It took a couple of hours to complete the drawing but wasn't as difficult to produce as might be thought. It's just a matter of having the right program to do it. Unfortunately, I didn't keep a copy of the image in its original file format, so I can't show how that particular one was made. However, it was done in a similar manner to the image shown below. A vector drawing program is needed for this. 'Xara Designer' is the one I used. As can be seen, the parts of the image are all individual pieces put together to make the finished article.
In a vector drawing program, it's possible to arrange the separate bits in any way you want them to be, so that one bit might sit in front or behind another bit. Therefore the marbles can be made to sit behind the front of the box and when everything is in place, they look to be inside it. That's how the orange ball is made to appear inside the box.
When that's done, the image is saved as a jpeg and the rest is an effect applied in another program, much the same as your phone does to the images you have posted.
