I saw Boy Meets World being filmed back in March of 1999. I know, a long time. It was sure interesting to see how they film the show. I got to see them having to do scenes again due to messups.
Not all of the set was where the audience could see. They had to show those scenes to us on the tv's.

I watched a country music show being filmed in Nashville, TN once. Have also watched a movie being filmed - even wrote a couple of articles about it for our local newspaper. Bonus: got to see Gene Hackman in person! Lots of fun.

"Pickle me grandmother!",
"How was your day, Dad?", "Bloody shambles, of course, someone should blow Catholics up!",
"Don't call me Dad, I'm your father!"

Who else but Ted Bullpitt ("Yeah, Bullpitt- everyone says that!").

'Kingswood Country' was a very politically incorrect Australian sitcom from the early 1980s, and some of the funniest bits never made the screen. Rosa (Sheila Kennelly) and Ted (Ross Higgins) had their fellow cast, AND the audience in stitches with their improvisations, usually very sexist and/or racist, but always funny. I was lucky enough to get tickets for the filming of a couple of episodes.

"The Kingswood! You're not taking the Kingswood! I just chamoised the towbar!"

(A Kingswood is a model of Holden car.)

Our school got to watch the local news team as they filmed a live news broadcast at the studio. It was pretty awesome. The way they did things was very surprising.

One thing I will always remember is that those sheets of paper they hold are blank. They use them to have something to do with their hands while they read from a teleprompter.

I've never seen a TV show being taped, but I've been on TV and it is intersting to see how different some celebrities are in real life compared to their on-screen personalities. In deference the libel/slander laws, I can't name names but one TV personality in Australia who specialises in being "warm and fuzzy" on TV is, in reality, quite the opposite. I went on his show and he wouldn't even speak to his guests off-camera. When the cameras stopped rolling, he moved off to one side and turned his back on us. I also happen to know from a reputable inside source that he treated his first wife extremely badly. So every time I see him on TV, he just comes across as smarmy to me.

Ozzz, I loved "Kingswood Country" and we still use some of those expressions. Ditto "Naked Vicar Show".

I saw a couple of tapings of "The Tonight Show" at NBC in Burbank. Alas, during the Jay Leno era. I never did get to see Johnny Carson live. *sobs*
