Amazing colours! Who would think a power station could look so pleasing?

My 88 year old mother is very proud (and rightly so!) of this display she grew from seed.

Those petunias are lovely - I almost put my hanging basket photo on instead of the Paris one...glad I didnt.. not a patch on this one - it was all mauves and blues though... Growing petunias from seed aint easy!

Back to post-boxes, in the USA they are blue.

I posted a picture of some shells I found in Namibia in the 'Things I Found' photo section. This picture I took as they lay on the shore. I could not believe there were so many. Something we do not see on the beaches in South Africa anymore.

Lol, Spanish Liz, i wasn't even thinking of our Canadian boxes ... more others in Britain, Scotland. Yellow seems as appropo for Spain as green is for Ireland. I would like to see one!

Again, wow to all! The tribute to "Rebel" brought a tear to my eye. Prof, that shot of the power station and sunset is over the top. Very humbling memorial, Sherry. Your Mom should be proud of those petunias, lily, and from seed no less! I love to go shelling and that would be heaven for me, lady. Beautiful sunrise, mcs, so serene. That is my favorite time of the day, especially on the water. I got behind on the 'looking' for a couple days again, but thank you all for giving me my morning photo fix.

I probably won't make a special effort to keep them alive if they eventually get in the way of the vacuum cleaner. Nonetheless, they are pretty harmless creatures that can't help being born spiders. They can have a bit of life

Welcome to the photos furby, good to see a new face.

Here is another anorak shot, for whatever reason although they changed our road signs in the 60s quite a few survive to this day. Most I know are the blue ones (and not maintained) but this much rarer yellow one is freshly repainted and having saved one myself from the junkmen know how easy it is to do so every so many years.

My walk yesterday took me along some streets I hadn't explored before. I was sad to see this house, which looks like it must have been a nice home at one time, all boarded up and fenced off.

Road runners are such crazy looking birds, lol. Corfu looks quiet, the columns are awesome.

The peonies have dropped their petals and now the hydrangea is coming into its own outside the front entrance.

It's a wild, windy day here today, and I just happenned to spot this little fella hanging on for dear life beneath a hedge:

A pleasant bit of woodland. I was expecting my brother to come riding down this path at any moment. He eventually appeared from an entirely different direction.

My grandson will go to absolutely anyone.
