I went to the library today to return my grandson's library books (!) and saw that they had a demonstration (I thought) of origami. I sat myself down and much to my discomfort I was presented with a square of paper and ended up being there for an hour and a half and possibly will be signing up for a ten week course at evening classes.

Here are my efforts of the day. Be kind, they are my first EVER.

They look excellent, Sue. Well done!

Here's a photo of the reason behind my holiday in Scotland:

That 'book' is just a piece of twelve inch square (30 x 30 cms) paper folded up, no glue, nothing. I impressed myself no end producing this.

As promised yesterday, here is a photo of Maynooth (on the right) on set at the television station, just a few minutes after the recording of the show.

Can't ever hope to see one -
But I can tell you this right now
I'd rather see than be one".

I herd that one somewhere.

Moovelous photo's everyone.

For Cats fans, here are some 'memories', the shopping centre (one side of it anyway) at the top of my old road where I lived for 28 years. In the rain.

Looks like a lovely neighbourhood Satguru.

Meet 'Lady Gray', she "owned" one of my neighbours on Via Tranquilla, at Wasilla, Alaska (2006). 'Natasha' was from Russia, a good hearted and fiery girl. Lady Gray, well, she was just kinda always mellow and pleased with her world.

Samson my girlfriends family cat, was rescued from a certain death by my G/F sister. He was wild and independent only became affectionate when he wanted feeding. Sadly some Kind human being killed samson and 6 other cats in the area by poisoning them with slug pellets. Is sad we all miss Samson (sam)

My wife with a couple of Italian policemen, or Carabinieri, last week-end. She wasn't under arrest by the way, though I imagine a lot of ladies wouldn't mind being arrested by these two handsome guys

This a from Elgin's Biblical garden, taken yesterday between rain showers.
It claims to have all 110 plants mentioned in the Bible.

So sorry to hear about Sam, Professor. It's sad that people can be so mean towards animals.

Here's Amber, my Dad's best friend. After her afternoon walk, she enjoys taking a cool-down bath in her tub.

Poor Sam. I just can't face any kind of cruelty to animals, and can't understand anyone doing it.

Piquero, " I swear " I had this photo ready to post this week ... i couldn't beleive it when i saw your fine Italian men in uniform, it was such a coincidence.

These are Dublin policepersons, arresting 'my man'. The charges?

He stole my heart.

I think that the "San Quentin" on his T-shirt didn't help, making him look like a "suspicious character" lol

At any rate, he doesn't seem too unhappy about it does he? Hmmm
