A baby desert horned toad being held by my dad. For those not familiar, it is not a toad but in reality is a lizard. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Desert_horned_lizard

hmmm, there are bunches of small ones in the field around my parents house in Colorado, but haven't seen any large ones. Maybe they're orphans.

This is the inside of Battersea Park station, very imposing and unfortunately the only one today out of focus. Still a good view though.

That glass is gorgeous, picqero! And I love the station, satguru, slightly fuzzy or not.

Met a train on my walk home from the concert on the bay this evening.

Here's a photo of the entrance to Greyfriar's Kirk and Kirkyard, opposite which can be found the bronze statue and fountain of the renowned little Skye Terrier. (My boys informed me that the visit to that little treasure of a churchyard was the highlight of their visit to Edinburgh).

While in Colorado, we visited a house that was for sale and in the side yard is this old mining cart with rocks piled in it.

The photo below is from a trip I take every year with my sister. We go out to Shanksville, PA to the temporary memorial site for United Flight 93 that crashed in Somerset County on September 11, 2001.

The photo was taken by my sister, who was in the passenger seat, while I was driving.

What great photographs - thats brilliant Gary... Canada looks like rural England - but bigger! Love the dolphin and the desert scene - great shot.

This is a simple bunch of marigolds I picked from the garden yesterday - a little bit of sunshine on a cloudy day.
