Today is the 400th anniversary of the founding of Quebec City. Kind of a big deal to Canadians, and to any French-speaking North Americans.
Whether Quebec really deserves its claim as the oldest city in North America can be debated (a lot depends on your definitions) but there is no argument that it is a beautiful city with much of its history on view. Félicitations, Quebec!

Happy Birthday to beautiful Quebec! It's been far too many years since I have been there, but I do plan to make it back one of these days. I have to say it has just about everything you could ask for in a city and more.
