Hooray! I don't have many of these as reserved for mainly special meetings now, but by pure chance I appear to have seen this first as well. This is the room I have the computer, and I am with Nick Pope, the UK UFO investigator who was originally the Ministry of Defence's UFO desk occupant and now researches full time, and I am one of his helpers since 2001. There is a small fraction of my car collection behind us as well.

This is from five years ago, when me, Mum and Dad visited Stratford Upon Avon, during a very hot summer. This is the house of a "rather famous" W. Shakespeare. (I was also five stone heavier ) This is a great idea for photos!

Jane, lovely photo! I was there as well in October 2007...gosh it was so amazing to be able to walk inside Shakespeare's house. Stratford-upon-Avon is a lovely place. I thoroughly enjoyed walking around there and sitting by the river...such a lovely place! Your photo brings back many recent memories for me. Thanks for posting it. Edited to insert a left out word.

Welcome, leaine, nice photo. ClaraSue, Your mom is a beautiful woman. djs, What a good looking family you have there! Auntie Jane, William just keeps getting cuter, doesn't he? SOTHC, You are a very handsome couple and your wife's smile is only fitting considering the grief she must take from you! I say that with love and now I know the face behind one of our quickest wits on here in the Chains. From now on I will picture that oh so devilish grin of yours as I read your words!

Lovely photos everyone. Last month saw the 80th birthday of my mum's dear cousin Eric. I went to the party and took him a silk coat and hat from here. He was thrilled and wore them all the time!He is a game lad. Lost his wife after a long fight with cancer last year, then took up with a lady he met at the hospital. She bosses him about, he loves it, she arranged the party and also an exhibition of his paintings. She also made him change doctors to one who gave him less of the medicine that was getting him down and making him miserable. Result: A happy, confident much younger Eric! He is a fascinating chap. Here we are at the party.

Yes, very nice photos ...but could we please be careful of image sizes. 640 pixels should the maximum dimension height or width. Edit: Only just realised! (well, I've been doing lots around the house today ). Please only post one photo a day ( see '6' here). It's new forum so I'll leave well alone but it is something else to remember.

Put it down to the time difference, in the UK which is where Martin lives (and me) the times of the two photos are:
Sat Jul 26 2008 06:29 AM Sat Jul 26 2008 08:06 AM
I suppose that posting them just a few hours apart can cause en erroneous day to be shown depending on where you are in the world.
