With my little bloke he is much the same. Will sit there for a few minutes but soon loses interest. And why with smaller kids when you tell them to smile they look like they're made of wax? I find that it's better to sit back and just take a million photos while he does his thing and every now and then you get a cracker.

oh and to Burggurl - thank you for sharing your husband's picture. I can't imagine how hard it is for you but you must be proud too?

I love seeing all the members and their families posted here. BurgGurl, I was thinking about you last week, so I was glad to see a photo of your hubby. Hope you are getting along ok these days. Shelley, a lovely photo, you look relaxed and happy.

Here are my two hobgoblins, one of whom is just about out of trick or treating age. Erin was a hippie and Kate was a Renaissance princess.

I love it, djsgal! Such a lovely princess she is! The outfit on your 'hippie' brings back a lot of memories from when my sons were younger. They would rifle through boxes, closets, and drawers - all the things I had held onto from the 70's. It went from, "Mom, why do you keep all this junk?" to "Oooh, this is so cool, I'm so glad you kept this!" They actually came home with a few Best Costume Awards from school and parties.

I can't believe it has taken me all this time to finally look into this site. The pictures are wonderful and I now feel that I know so much more about so many of you. Great pictures! I went all the way back to page 1 and enjoyed each and every photo and all the comments.

My sister and I visited our Mum today, and she posed for us in her Hallowe'en pirate costume. I cut off the cutlass in this one, but she was saying "Arrrrr" for us and I wanted a closeup!

Tonight my sister and I had some fun ourselves, attending a "millinery soiree" at one of the local antique stores. There must have been close to twenty women, all trying on hats and vintage clothing (I stuck to hats) and generally having a roaring good time. My sister and I ended up buying each other hats as early Christmas presents.
