Oh Maggie, how gorgeous she is! Here is Lina, my helper, who is in her forties and looks about 25. She has had lots of worries and troubles, but like most Philippinas she remains cheerful.

Maggie, I like her taste in hats, I have one just the same upstairs. I haven't worn it as I bought several and chose one of the others on the day.

Took me a while to get the backbone to post this up here (but I decided I might just as well, since I said I would). Some remember that our Ren made for me a(n) (awesome and fully breathtaking) sweater. It's a divine thing indeed ... so here I am, wearing it. I'm not comfortable with the picture of "me", of course - but the image is (ugh) accurate. And my saying that surely indicates that one of the most unappealing wiles of human nature is vanity. And I am embarrassed that I still have any ! But it's been a rather 'adventurous' couple of years, and I reckon I ought to look like it has been, yes? And, really ... such a sweater is so lovely it would look amazing on anybody! Even me ... Also, it was quite bright outside that day, so the 'detail' in the garment is hard to see. But, trust me, it's exceptional !

I know the feeling, Gats, about the backbone and I didn't even comment on all the wonderful photos already here when I got the nerve up to post mine! From Sat's on, they are all so good. Beautiful children picqero and Bee, ren's Lina and ren dancing, Bee dressed up and then tired, Shelley that is a beautiful photo and I know you'll enjoy the reunuion - how sweet is that. Santana, great profile shot of your son and Maggie, your granddaughter is precious as is ozzz's. Gats, even though I saw you in your sweater for a day or two (in avatar), it is still a great picture to honor ren's work! If I left out a comment on anyone's, sorry, too many here, but know that I love them all and this thread was a great idea. Here is a photo of my 'photographer' and, ironically, he is eating cereal too like Maggie's granddaughter. You can't really see it, but his eyes are bluer than mine.

Ah, Sandy, you have the bluest eyes! Please tell Spencer that I think he did a wonderful job capturing his beautiful grandmother. Oh, and Spencer is very handsome! I predict that by the time he is 15, he will have all the girls chasing him...hopefully he will be a fast runner.

Gats, let me endorse the comment by Pagiedamon. Thanks for the opportunity to see ren's handiwork. It is wonderful to see both you and the sweater!

It looks like a wonderful time, Jane...but you know, I envy the fact that you both have on jackets -for heaven's sake -how glorious that would seem to most of us yanks about now.
